Search continues for suspects involved in deadly North Side shooting
Police said officers pulled over a vehicle Friday night in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood that they thought may have been involved in a deadly shooting last week.
Dispatchers from 911 said officers saw a white sports utility vehicle on 43rd Street just before 11:30 p.m. Friday that matched the description of a vehicle spotted at the scene of a deadly shooting on the North Side last week.
According to police, when officers pulled the car over, the driver ran away on foot and the passenger inside the car was handcuffed. Officials said the man was later released.
Authorities said no arrests have been made in the case.
Sean Blackwell was shot twice inside an apartment on Termon Avenue last Friday during a drug deal, police said.
Authorities are looking for three suspects in the shooting, Keith Pack, Mark Davis and a third man, whose name has not been released.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
